I’ve been involved in several NGo and pro-bono activities. For over 10 years I’ve been on the board and evaluation committee of English Teaching program of Nida Foundation, oriented at improving language skills of English teachers in small villages. Since 2011 I’ve been sitting on the advisory board of Kopernik Science Center, the largest science center in Poland. Since 2006 I’ve been active in Wikimedia movement, and I’m currently on Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees. I regularly volunteer to deliver talks and seminars for NGO groups.
Previously, I was engaged in founding, organizing and running Collegium Invisibile, an association for talented students established by George Soros through HESP framework in CEE countries, and I was its elected chairperson for three consecutive terms (1998-2004).
